If you are looking for individual herbs or tinctures then look no further! We use literally hundreds of herbs in our standard dry and liquid mixes, but we also source and stock many others for Hilary Self our Medical Herbalist to use in her dispensary.
There are just too many to list here, and Tony Self our Managing Director and Co founder is great at tracking down even the most obscure herbs and tinctures, so if you don't find what you need or would like a price on bulk order amounts, please contact the Helpline helpline@hiltonherbs.com and we will try to help.
Blending herbs for use with animals is our special expertise - in the course of this work we are constantly reminded that no two horses or ponies (or any animals for that matter) are exactly alike. So, although we believe that our standard formulations cover most circumstances, we can respond quickly to requests for special mixes OR individual herbs or tinctures suited to an animal’s individual needs.
Open up the leaves of an Aloe Vera plant and you will find the rich, cooling and slimy Aloe Vera gel, which can be rubbed straight onto the skin. The benefits of Aloe Vera are that it has a strong affinity for skin and epithelial tissue, making it appropriate for both internal and external use. Our 2:1 Aloe Vera juice extract can be used both internally and externally for horses, dogs or in fact any animal. The extract also makes an excellent base liquid to which other plant tinctures or essential oils can be added, to create skin washes, gels or sprays according to your individual requirements.
Horse dosage : 50 to 120mls per day

Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis)
Did you know that the majority of aloe vera is transported around the world as a dry powder. This is because aloe contains large quantities of water, which is expensive to transport, therefore the aloe is dehydrated close to its site of cultivation and then reconstituted once it reaches its final destination.
