Digestion Information

You are what you eat. This may be an old adage, but it is true and applies equally to both people and animals. In recent years there has been an increasing trend in both the human and pet market towards the use of 'convenience' foods. This may appear to be a quick, cheap, and easy way to feed our dogs, but many of these products fall far short of providing a fresh, healthy, nutritious diet, and can ultimately lead to poor overall digestive function and a tendency to develop various other health issues. Obesity in dogs is on the increase and this is directly related to over feeding, reliance on convenience foods containing high levels of fat and salt, too many treats and lack of exercise. Obviously we can’t rectify all the effects of a poor diet or lack of exercise, but we can offer a variety of pure herbal canine supplements  that will help ensure your dog’s digestive system is maintained in the very best of health, whatever the age and whatever the routine.

I tried Tranquility for my 10 year old dog who had always loved the car. For some reason she had become very nervous and would not settle in the car. I tried her on Tranquility and she is now her old self when we travel. I also own a boarding and grooming centre and have used it on some clients dogs with good results.

I used Tranquility for many years for my very nervous and sensitive rescued collie. I was at my wits end with the dog as he was too scared to go out of the house. With Tranquility he was a new dog, able to romp the fields with his pals and we even managed to go to dog shows, working in obedience. Although he was never the bravest of dogs, the quality of his(and mine) life was improved immensly by this product. I would recommend Hilton Herbs to anyone. Great service and prompt delivery. Thanks

Contains: Valerian root, Lemon Balm herb, Scullcap herb, Chamomile flowers, Hawthorn tops, Marshmallow root.

One of the herbs used in this product is Valerian – Valeriana officinalis.

Valerian is adored by both cats and mice.  In the old days when there was an Apothecary or Herbalist on every street, the herbs were often stored in wooden drawers in a large sideboard. It was said that you could always tell the Valerian drawer because it would be rubbed shiny by the apothecary cat rubbing up against it and polishing the wood with its body. It is also suggested that the Pied Piper of Hamelin used Valerian to entice the mice and rats to follow him out of the town.
