Our herbal horse supplement Equimmune is rich in Echinacea purpurea root which contains masses of echinosides the constituent primarily responsible for the plants actions. Use Equimmune to help ensure your horses immunity and immune response is given the maximum support at any time of the year. For horses with those troublesome lumps and bumps our customers tell us that Winter is the time to start using the Equimmune because there are less flies around to irritate the skin. We recommend using our VireX cream in conjunction with Equimmune at this time.
At 3 x 50ml scoops per day, a kilo should last approx 20 days, costing approx £1.00 per day
Dosage (50ml scoop size included) : we suggest to make allowance for type:
Up to 12.2hh : 1 scoop daily
12.2hh to 14.2hh: 2 scoops daily
14.2hh to 15.2hh : 3 scoops daily
15.2hh to 16.2hh : 4 scoops daily
16.2hh+ : 4 to 5 scoops daily

Echinacea species are becoming more and more popular for use as garden flowers in herbaceous borders. They come in a variety of fantastic colours, are easy to grow and flower year after year.
At Hilton Herbs we use Echinacea purpurea, and we only use the roots of the plant, this is because the root is where the highest concentration of echinosides are found. It is the echinosides that are responsible for the plant's action and are the reason it can help support and maintain the body's immune response. Echincea herb (the aerial parts) of the plant is much cheaper to buy but only contains very low levels of Echinosides, which confirms that old adage "you get what you pay for"!
