Coat and Skin Information

Your horse or pony's coat is a reflection of their inner health. Loss of condition, a  dull scurfy coat, itchy mane, rubbed tail, or sore irritated legs can all be an indication of  something not quite right.

Let us help with clinically trialled and tested products for seasonal skin irritations, supplements to maintain condition, a magic herbal cream for minor wounds and abrasions, a cooling soothing lotion for skin irritation and hair re-growth, and a range of herbal shampoos for that finishing touch.

I took part in the trial with my young stallion who had previously rubbed most of his mane out which is not a good look for a stallion!! The transformation this year was amazing, he now is living up to his pet name, lion king with his flaxen mane flowing. I am just about to stock up on some more lotion ans supplement. His coat has the most shine from the linseed in the supplement which is an added bonus too!!

Most of All IT WORKS!! Sweet Relief .... I demand three things of a Seasonal Itching product, it must be practical, affordable and most of all, it must work. Bye Bye Itch meets these and more besides. No more distressed, tatty, sore ponies and for me no more high maintenance daily repairing of torn fly rugs, applying half a dozen different products at impossible times of day with indifferent results and at great cost. A luxuriant mane, minimal irritation, rapid healing and hair growth if rubbing did occur on unrugged areas, I have never seen my girl look so good. With this entirely new approach to the management of sweet itch all four of my itchy Dartmoors and Icelandics are now on the supplement and combined with the lotion, look forward to next season with great relief all round. Well done Hilton Herbs!! Jennifer Letheren (Dorset)

My New Forest pony has seasonal itching, which although not as severe as some, does result in a badly rubbed mane, tail and belly (despite a good sweet itch rug being used and various potions and lotions) and a pretty miserable pony. I trialled this supplement and the lotion hoping it might help a bit and have have been amazed at the improvement. It has not stopped him rubbing completely but has significantly reduced his sensitivity. Before this supplement, the first thing he would do when going into his stable was manically rub...... but now he stales, inspects his haynet, looks for his tea..... and then might have a rub if he feels like it. For the first time I have a complete mane, although thinner, it has no gaps in it and I have had to trim his forelock ! He looks in great condition and is so much more comfortable. And the only change in his regime are these products. I have already ordered a 4kg bag of this stuff and a litre of the lotion ! Well worth a try.

We were lucky enough to take part in the trial for Bye Bye Itch supplement and lotion. They really work. Our mare really suffered the year before but this summer she was so much better. At last she has a mane and a proper tail too.

Just about to purchase my 2nd tub, very paletable just mixing a little in with some applechaff as a treat for my haffie as she lives out 24/7 on just a little hay, grass & fresh air! Am looking at rugging up this week as good weather on the cards. Am really excited about prospect of a calm, full mane-ed girl this summer!
