Herbs & Tinctures Information

If you are looking for individual herbs or tinctures then look no further! We use literally hundreds of herbs in our standard dry and liquid mixes, but we also source and stock many others for Hilary Self our Medical Herbalist to use in her dispensary.

There are just too many to list here, and Tony Self our Managing Director and Co founder is great at tracking down even the most obscure herbs and tinctures, so if you don't find what you need or would like a price on bulk order amounts, please contact the Helpline helpline@hiltonherbs.com  and we will try to help.

Blending herbs for use with animals is our special expertise - in the course of this work we are constantly reminded that no two horses or ponies (or any animals for that matter) are exactly alike. So, although we believe that our standard formulations cover most circumstances, we can respond quickly to requests for special mixes OR individual herbs or tinctures suited to an animal’s individual needs.

Slippery Elm powder makes an excellent poultice, because of its 'drawing' properties and can be used topically, as a safe and effective natural compress or poultice for both people and animals. Just add warm water to turn it into a slimy soothing paste.
